Why does Android show a warning?
Android warns about every app that doesn’t come from the Play Store, whoever made it. It doesn’t mean something is wrong with the app: we share it straight from our own site instead of a store.
Every version is signed with our own key, so your phone will only install updates that really come from us.

Is the app free?
Yes. Every game is free, there’s nothing to buy, and the app has no ads.
Is it safe to install?
Yes. It’s the same games as this site, packed into an app and signed with our own key. Android’s warning appears for any app from outside the Play Store. If you want to be sure, compare your file with the SHA-256 checksum on this page.
Does it get updates?
Yes. The app checks for a new version in Settings. Download it from this page and install it over the old one: your progress stays.
Do my progress and stats carry over from the website?
No. Progress is stored on each device, in each browser or app, so the app starts fresh, even on a phone where you’ve played in the browser. Ratings and leaderboard names follow the device’s player id, and the app has its own, so it starts with a new rating and you pick your leaderboard name again.
Can I play offline?
Yes, the single-player games work without a connection. Online play, leaderboards, ratings and tournaments need one.
